Custom-fit boat covers for RIBs and inflatable boats from Oceansouth's RIB Boat Cover Style A series are designed for protection during storage and transport on road trailers. The cover is available in several variants for different boat lengths and widths. Select the size based on the boat's length, width, center console, engine, roll bar, A-frame, stern arch, and other mounted fittings.
The custom-fit construction provides a more tailored fit than a universal boat cover. Models with a rear opening can be fitted around a roll bar, A-frame, or stern arch and closed with a zipper and hook-and-loop fasteners. Two cam cleats make it easier to tension the cover evenly around the boat.
The covers are manufactured from ATLAS marine fabric with a fabric weight of 280 g/m². Depending on the variant, the material consists of 100% dope-dyed polyester with a PU coating. The fabric is waterproof, breathable, and UV-resistant, and on selected variants, it has a water column of at least 1,500 mm, UV protection of UPF 50+ with a measured value over UPF 80, and light and weather fastness of grade 6–7.
Double-stitched, overlapping seams and UV-resistant thread contribute to a robust construction. Selected ATLAS variants have a tensile strength of approximately 2,200 N in one direction and 1,400 N in the other, as well as documented resistance to abrasion, chlorine, water, and oil. Some models also include a 6 mm braided rope in the hem, rope tensioners, rope ends, rope cleats, and tie-down straps.
The cover must be mounted, closed, and tensioned correctly before transport. The specified transport instruction for relevant variants is a maximum speed of 60 km/h. Always check the fit over the highest points of the boat and secure all lines firmly before and during driving.
