Grey protective cover for Lewmar Flush hatch from Oceansouth is custom-fitted for a square Lewmar Flush hatch, size 60. The cover measures 577 × 577 mm and protects the hatch from the sun, water, and general environmental impacts of the marine environment.
The cover is made from 310 g/m² ATLAS Marine Grade fabric in 100% high-tech polyester with a PU coating. The fabric is water-resistant, breathable, and UV-resistant. The breathability helps reduce condensation build-up under the cover, while a proven water column of at least 1,500 mm contributes to water protection.
The ATLAS fabric has a UPF 50+ rating and has been measured at over UPF 80. It features light and weather fastness of grade 6–7, water repellency of grade 100, oil repellency of grade 4, and chlorine resistance of grade 4–5. The tensile strength is approximately 2,200 N in one direction and 1,400 N in the other, while the elongation is approximately 40% and 30% in the respective directions.
The elastic hem is combined with a drawstring and locking toggle, ensuring the custom-fitted cover stays securely around the hatch. The design allows the cover to remain in place whether the hatch is open or closed.
