Grey hatch cover for Lewmar Low/Medium Profile hatch from Oceansouth is a custom-fit protective cover for size 30 rectangular deck hatches. The cover fits Lewmar Low Profile hatches with outer dimensions of 527 × 397 mm and Medium Profile hatches with outer dimensions of 528 × 398 mm.
The cover is made of grey ATLAS marine fabric, 100% polyester with a PU coating and a fabric weight of 310 g/m². The material is UV-resistant, breathable, and water-repellent, and is developed for outdoor use in a marine environment. The fabric has a water column of at least 1,500 mm, and the UV protection factor is UPF 50+.
The breathable construction helps limit condensation and moisture buildup under the cover. Double-lapped seams increase strength, while the elastic hem and wraparound drawstring with locking toggle hold the cover tight around the hatch frame. The cover can remain in place whether the hatch is open or closed.
Installation is carried out by first placing the cover around the back of the hatch and then stretching it forward over the hatch. The elastic hem is tucked tightly under the hatch frame, while the drawstring remains in the locking toggle. The custom-fit construction is designed specifically for Lewmar Low/Medium Profile hatches; for hatches of other makes or with externally mounted hinges, a suitable universal cover should be used.
The model is MA 411-30G in the Oceansouth MA 411 series. It is compatible with Lewmar Low Profile hatch 39930030 and Medium Profile hatch 39930020. The cover is easy to clean and protects the hatch surface from sun and maritime weather.
