Grey hatch cover for Lewmar Low Profile hatch from Oceansouth is a form-fitted protective cover for a rectangular deck hatch, size 03. It is tailored for a hatch with external dimensions of 301 × 246 mm and protects the hatch’s acrylic and other exposed parts against sunlight, rain, and general marine weather conditions.
The cover is made of 310 g/m² ATLAS marine fabric in 100% solution-dyed polyester. The material is breathable, water-repellent, and UV-resistant. The breathable construction helps reduce condensation build-up, while the solution-dyed material provides excellent colorfastness. The fabric is also durable, dimensionally stable, and resistant to mold and mildew.
The elastic hem fits snugly around the hatch frame, and the drawstring closure with cord lock secures the cover. Double-lapped seams contribute to a robust construction for use in a marine environment. The cover is designed to remain in place whether the hatch is open or closed.
For installation, place the cover around the rear edge of the hatch first, then pull it forward over the hatch so the elastic edge grips under the frame. The drawstring remains secured in the cord lock during installation. This variant fits the Lewmar Low Profile size 03, also referred to as 03 Low, and is suitable for a documented hatch height range of approx. 10–30 mm.
