Grey hatch cover for Lewmar Low Profile deck hatch from Oceansouth is a custom-fit protective cover for a rectangular Lewmar Low Profile deck hatch, size 20. The cover protects the hatch from sunlight and maritime weather conditions, thereby helping to preserve the hatch's surfaces.
The cover is made of ATLAS marine-grade fabric with a fabric weight of 310 g/m². The fabric is UV-resistant, water-repellent, weather-resistant, and breathable. Breathability helps to limit the buildup of condensation under the cover, while the material is also resistant to mold and mildew.
The custom-fit design features double-lapped seams and an elastic hem that tucks under the hatch frame. A drawstring with a locking clip secures the cover around the hatch. The construction is designed to allow the cover to remain in place whether the deck hatch is open or closed.
This variant fits the Lewmar Low Profile size 20 with a rectangular shape and external hatch dimensions of 272 × 417 mm. These dimensions are the fit and compatibility measurements for the deck hatch and not the separately measured maximum dimensions of the loose textile cover. The compatible Lewmar hatch has manufacturer number 39920030.
When installing, place the cover around the back of the hatch first and then stretch it forward over the hatch. The elastic hem is secured tightly under the frame, while the drawstring remains fastened in the locking clip. The cover is easy to clean and maintain.
