Oceansouth full-cover outboard motor cover for Mercury - multiple variants

Oceansouth full-cover motor cover for Mercury outboard motors is a form-fitting storage and transport cover that protects the entire motor from the motor hood down to the lower unit and skeg area. The model-specific variants are developed for a wide range of Mercury and Verado motors with different motor generations, cylinder counts, displacements, power outputs, model years, and shaft lengths. Always check that the motor specifications match the selected variant.

The cover is intended for outdoor storage, winter storage, garage storage, and trailer transport with the motor switched off. The snug fit reduces wind flap and the risk of the cover coming loose during transport. It protects against sun and UV radiation, rain, moisture, salt spray, dust, dirt, road debris, and general weather exposure. The cover must not be used while sailing or operating the motor.

The ATLAS Marine Grade fabric consists of 100% polyester with a fabric weight of 340 g/m², PU coating, and in several variants, solution-dyed polyester or Oxford weave. The material is breathable, water-resistant, water-repellent, and UV-resistant with a proven water column of at least 1,500 mm as well as UPF 50+. The material data also includes light and weather fastness of 6–7, chlorine resistance 4–5, oil repellency 4, and tensile strength of approximately 2,200/1,400 N.

A soft internal felt or non-woven lining protects the motor's surface against scratches and scuffs. Double-stitched and reinforced seams increase durability, while an elastic hem follows the contour of the motor mount. The heavy-duty #10 marine-grade zipper closes around and under the skeg. The slip-on construction does not require a separate mounting kit and can, where applicable, be fitted over a vented cover or hood cover.
