Custom-fit engine cover for Suzuki outboard motor from Oceansouth in white. The cover is tailored to the engine cowling of the Suzuki DF150AP, DF175AP, and DF200AP, 4-cylinder 4-stroke 2.8-liter engines from model year 2014 onwards. It covers the engine cowling and is not a full motor cover for the engine leg.
The ventilated design allows the cover to remain in place during sailing and engine operation. Integrated mesh vents and precise cutouts maintain the necessary airflow for the engine and account for the cowling's contours, ventilation openings, and trim and tilt buttons.
The cover is made of 340 g/m² ATLAS Marine Grade fabric, 100% polyester with a PU coating. The material is water-resistant, breathable, tear-resistant, and UV-resistant with UPF 50+. A proven water column of at least 1,500 mm contributes to protection against water and salt spray, while breathability limits moisture buildup under the cover.
Inside, the cover features a soft felt/non-woven polyester lining, which protects the surface of the engine cowling from scratches and scuffs. Reinforced double stitching, an elastic hem, and a Twin Toggle/Twin Rope Cleat fastening system provide a tight, model-specific fit that reduces wind impact and the risk of the cover coming loose.
The cover protects the engine cowling during both operation and outdoor storage from sun, UV radiation, water, salt spray, dirt, and debris. It is installed by pulling it over the engine cowling and then tightening it with the integrated cleat system. The manufacturer's model number for the white variant is S06-VW; the base code is S06-V, and the distributor format OCS-S06-VW also appears.
A compatible full engine cover can be mounted over the ventilated engine cover. For the same engine group, full engine covers are available under item no. 46.552.10 for a 25-inch shaft and 46.552.11 for a 30-inch shaft. The black ventilated color variant has item no. 46.542.23.
Clean the cover with a soft brush, lukewarm water, and if necessary, mild soapy water. Avoid harsh detergents and chemical cleaners, which can damage the UV coating. Let the cover air dry, and ensure it is clean and completely dry before long-term storage.
