This Oceansouth custom-fit outboard motor cover for Suzuki is the white, ventilated S20-VW variant for the Suzuki DF70A, DF80A, and DF90A from 2008 onwards. The cover protects the motor cowling and is designed to remain in place while the engine is running and during navigation.
The custom-fit design follows the contours of the motor cowling and features cutouts for relevant air intakes, buttons, and other details. Integrated mesh vents ensure the necessary airflow during operation. The snug fit and fastening system also help keep the cover in place during transport and at speed on the water.
The cover is made from 100% ATLAS Marine Grade polyester canvas with a weight of 340 g/m² and a PU coating. The material is breathable, has a water column of at least 150 mbar/1500 mm, and provides UPF 50+ UV protection, with a measured value above UPF 80. The light and weather fastness is rated at grade 6-7.
Inside, a soft felt lining protects the surface of the motor cowling from scratches and scuffs. Double-stitched, reinforced seams, an elastic marine-grade hem, and a dual toggle/rope cleat system ensure a secure fit around the cowling. The cover is pulled down over the cowling and tightened at the hem.
The motor cover provides protection against sun, water and weather, dust, dirt, scratches, scuffs, and minor impact marks. It can be used during engine operation and navigation, as well as for storage on the boat, at the dock, or in the garage. A full-length cover or universal storage cover can also be fitted over the ventilated cover.

Maintenance
Clean the cover with a soft brush, lukewarm water, and if necessary, a mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents and chemical cleaners, which can damage the UV treatment. Allow the cover to air dry, and ensure it is clean and completely dry before long-term storage.
