This Oceansouth model-specific outboard motor cover for Suzuki outboard motors is custom-tailored for a range of Suzuki 4-stroke engines and protects the motor hood, top cover, and cowling against sun, moisture, dust, dirt, salt spray, scratches, and weather exposure during outdoor storage, winter storage, and trailering. The cover does not cover the motor leg, gear housing, or propeller.
Select the variant that matches your engine: DF25A/DF30A from 2014, DF40A/DF50A/DF60A from 2010, DF70A/DF80A/DF90A from 2008, DF100A/DF115A/DF140A from 2012–2020, DF150/DF175 from 2005, DF200/DF225/DF250 from 2003, or DF250AP/DF300AP from 2012. The various models cover 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines as well as V6 engines with displacements from 1.5 to 4.0 liters and power ranges from 25 to 300 hp.
The cover is made of durable ATLAS Marine Grade fabric in 100% dope-dyed polyester with a fabric weight of 340 g/m². The material is breathable, UV-resistant, water-repellent, and tear-resistant, and is PU-coated on selected variants. It has a water column of at least 1,500 mm, UPF 50+, light and weather fastness of grade 6–7, water repellency of grade 100, oil repellency of grade 4, and a proven tensile strength of approximately 2,200/1,400 N.
The custom-tailored slip-on construction follows the contours of the motor hood. A soft felt lining protects the surface against minor scratches, while an elastic hem, double rope cleat or Twin Rope Cleat closure, and double-stitched and reinforced seams ensure a stable and durable fit.
This is a non-vented storage cover that must only be used when the engine is turned off. It must be removed before engine operation or sailing. Clean with a soft brush, lukewarm water, and optionally mild soapy water. Avoid strong detergents and chemical cleaners, let the cover air dry, and store only when clean and completely dry.
