Oceansouth rectangular deck hatch cover in size 580 × 460 mm protects the hatch against sun and weather exposure. The cover is designed for rectangular deck hatches and helps limit wear and tear on the hatch frame, seals, and transparent surfaces.
The cover is made of 100% solution-dyed high-tech polyester from the ATLAS Golden Range with a PU coating. The breathable marine fabric reduces the accumulation of condensation under the cover, while the material provides effective UV protection. The fabric has a basis weight of 400 g/m².
The ATLAS fabric has a water column of at least 1,500 mm, equivalent to 150 mbar. The UV protection is classified as UPF 50+ and measured at over UPF 80. The light and weather fastness is rated 6-7, and the material also features documented water, oil, and chlorine-repellent properties.
A surrounding drawstring with a cord lock keeps the cover secure around the hatch and acts as a wind-resistant attachment. The design allows the cover to remain in place around the hatch when opened, and it stays attached when the hatch is closed.
