This custom-fit, full-coverage RIB boat cover Style C from Oceansouth is designed for RIBs and inflatable boats with a center console, middle console, and T-top. When correctly fitted and secured, the cover protects the boat during standard storage, winter and long-term storage, as well as trailer transport.
The Style C design is shaped to follow the contours of the boat over the center console, windshield, T-top, fittings, and other equipment down to the hull. The range includes variants for different boat lengths and widths, as well as models that either cover or do not cover the outboard motor. Therefore, always check the boat’s total dimensions and configuration before selecting a variant.
The cover is made of grey ATLAS marine canvas with a fabric weight of 280 g/m². The material consists of 100% polyester, including dope-dyed polyester, Oxford weave, and PU coating in relevant variants. The fabric is waterproof, breathable, and UV-resistant, while double or double-stitched overlapping seams increase strength and durability for repeated use.
The ATLAS 280 fabric has a hydrostatic head of at least 1,500 mm and UV protection of UPF 50+ with a measured value above UPF 80. Light and weather fastness is grade 6–7, tensile strength is approximately 2,200/1,400 N, and elongation is approximately 40/30% in both measuring directions. The fabric is also documented with chlorine resistance of grade 4–5, water repellency of grade 100, and oil repellency of grade 4. Certain variants are treated with Teflon Fabric Protector.
Selected models feature a sewn-in 6 mm braided rope, Twin Cam Cleat tightening, rope tensioners, tie-down straps, and rope cleats. A storage bag is included with relevant variants, while support poles can be purchased separately to lift the cover and reduce the accumulation of water and dirt.
