Round deck hatch cover from Oceansouth protects a round deck hatch with a nominal diameter of 600 mm against sun, UV radiation, and weather. The blue MA 400-18 variant is a universal protective cover for round sailboat hatches.
The cover is made of UV-resistant ATLAS fabric in 100% solution-dyed polyester. The fabric is breathable, which reduces condensation under the cover. The material has a PU coating, a water column of at least 150 mbar, corresponding to 1500 mm, and a UV protection factor of UPF 50+.
A circumferential drawstring with a cord lock keeps the cover secure around the hatch and acts as a windproof attachment. The design allows the cover to remain on when the hatch is opened, while the drawstring system holds it around the hatch in the closed position.
