This Oceansouth T-Top Extension with telescopic poles is a removable sunshade that extends the shaded area aft of an existing T-Top, hardtop, or Flying Bridge superstructure. The white version has an unfolded length of 260 cm, an aft width of 230 cm, and a forward width of 200 cm.
The trapezoidal canopy is made of white ATLAS marine fabric, 100% polyester with a surface weight of 310 g/m² and a PU coating. The fabric is waterproof, UV-resistant, and breathable, as well as resistant to tearing, abrasion, mildew, and mold. It has a water column of at least 1,500 mm and UPF 50+ UV protection.
The two telescopic poles are made of stainless steel and can be adjusted from 1.3 to 2.0 m. This allows the height to be adapted for seated or standing use. The poles are inserted into existing aft-mounted rod holders, while the front straps are attached to the T-Top frame. The stabilization straps are led from the top of the telescopic poles to suitable aft cleats or the railing.
The assembly is removable and requires neither drilling nor tools when the boat has the necessary rod holders and attachment points. The extension can be folded away when not in use, and it can be used deployed while anchored or while cruising at speeds of up to 20 knots.
The set comes with a fabric canopy, two stainless steel telescopic poles, and polyester straps. Before installation, ensure that the boat's T-Top or hardtop, rod holders, aft cleats, or railing are positioned appropriately relative to the dimensions of the canopy.
