This Oceansouth T-Top sun shade extension expands the shaded area aft of an existing T-Top or hardtop. The black version measures 182 cm in width and provides an extension of 152 cm.
The extension kit consists of a canopy made of waterproof and UV-resistant ATLAS polyester with a fabric weight of 220 g/m², telescopic stainless steel poles, and polyester fastening straps. The canopy is also breathable and resistant to mold and mildew.
The telescopic poles are mounted in at least two existing rod holders, while the straps secure the canopy to the T-Top frame. The angle of the poles can be adjusted so the sun shade can be aligned with the existing T-Top or hardtop. The construction requires no vertical support poles on the cockpit deck.
Installation requires neither tools nor drilling and can be completed in under two minutes. The sun shade extension can be installed and removed while the boat is on the water and folded up for storage after use.
The product is intended for existing rod holders with an angle of approximately 75–90°. Rod holders are not included, and the boat must therefore already have at least two suitable rod holders and appropriate attachment points on the T-Top or hardtop.
