This anodised aluminium Targa Top from Oceansouth is a fixed canopy for powerboats, open boats, and center console boats. The top measures 1.92 × 1.72 m and provides sun protection over the boat's helm and seating area.
The frame consists of four posts made of Ø32 mm anodised aluminium tubing. The swivel mounting bases allow the angle of the posts to be adjusted to suit the mounting surfaces. The connectors and fittings are made of marine-grade nylon, while the fasteners are made of AISI 316 stainless steel.
The blue canopy is made of waterproof and UV-resistant ATLAS polyester with a fabric weight of 310 g/m². The finished top has a width of 1.92 m, a length of 1.72 m, and a height of 1.47 m.
The structure can be mounted on the boat's gunwale or deck and can alternatively be attached to a Ø25 mm handrail. The mounting width at the bases can be adjusted from 1.90 to 2.10 m. The distance should be measured between the centers of the intended mounting points, and the boat must have suitable and sufficiently solid mounting surfaces.
The recommended cruising speed with the top installed is 20 knots. This specification is a recommendation and not a maximum documented load limit.
