This additional recessed anodized aluminum base for the Oceansouth Waverider pedestal is intended as an extra mounting or replacement base for the removable pedestal system.
The base allows for the creation of another compatible mounting location in the boat. A removable Waverider pedestal can thus be moved between the installed bases without having to install a complete additional pedestal.
The design is a flush, recessed, plug-in base made of anodized aluminum with a nominal diameter of Ø 228 mm. It is designed so that the compatible pedestal can be pulled out of the base when it needs to be removed or moved.
The base is documented as compatible with Oceansouth Waverider pedestals with item nos. 48.707.40, 48.707.41, and 48.707.42. These pedestals have different height ranges but use this same additional recessed base.
