This extra dome base for Oceansouth Waverider seat pedestal is a separate mounting base for a removable seat pedestal. It can be used to establish an additional mounting position on board or as a replacement for an existing dome base.
The base features a central receiver socket where the compatible Waverider pedestal is inserted vertically. The pedestal can be lifted out again, allowing the seat to be removed for storage or when more clear deck space is needed.
The dome-shaped base is manufactured from marine-grade, UV-stabilized nylon. It has an outer diameter of 228 mm and a nominal height of 4″, corresponding to approx. 102 mm. The black finish is designed for surface mounting.
The base is secured through six countersunk mounting points distributed along the periphery. It is specifically documented as an extra snap-in base for the telescopic Waverider pedestal with item no. 48.707.23 and height range 370-450 mm. Pedestal, seat mount, and seat are not included.
