This telescopic seat pedestal for boat seats combines height adjustment, a gas spring, and an internal shock absorber for increased comfort on board. The various height ranges allow the seating position to be adapted to the user and conditions on the water: 310–390 mm, 440–570 mm, or 520–650 mm.
The gas spring handles the height adjustment, while the shock absorber reduces the shocks transmitted through the seat when the boat moves in waves and rough water. The swivel seat head provides 360° rotation, and the swivel resistance can be adjusted, after which the position can be locked with the handle.
The telescopic tubes are made of anodized aluminum with stepped diameters of Ø75/65 mm. The removable seat mount is made of nylon and fiberglass and features a universal hole and slot pattern. The mount measures 177 × 170 mm, the mounting pattern is 130 × 130 mm, and the elongated holes measure approx. 25.2 × 8.2 mm.
The column is supplied complete with a flush-mount aluminum base and can be lifted out when the seat needs to be removed or moved. An included round cover can be used to cover the base opening after removal. An additional aluminum base with item no. 48.707.43 can be used so that the seat can be moved between multiple mounting locations.
The base variants have a flange of approx. Ø228–230 mm, a central base section of Ø109 mm, and a bolt circle of Ø203 mm. The mounting holes are Ø8.5 mm; the quantity depends on the base version. The flange projects approx. 15.7 mm above the deck, and the recessed part requires approx. 75.3 mm of space below the deck. Check the physical base and the space below the deck before drilling or cutting. The product comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
