Orion 500 is a smooth double-braided polyester line with a 16-plait polyester cover and 8-plait polyester core, suitable as all-round rope on board. The line is spliceable and has a breaking strength of 2000 kg.
Its moderate elongation and good abrasion resistance make it easy to handle for many tasks on deck. Orion 500 does not float and is well-suited for mooring, anchoring, or as a utility rope in the harbor and on board.
