Outboard motor bracket with motor plate is a practical solution for the permanent mounting, hanging, or storage of smaller outboard motors on a wall, transom, swim platform, or stern pulpit. Depending on the chosen variant, the bracket is designed for motors of up to 8 HP and 30 kg or up to 12 HP and 35 kg. Both load limits must be observed.
The motor plate measures 289 × 200 mm and is made of high-resistance plastic, which provides a stable mounting surface for the motor's clamping bracket. The construction is available with support brackets and tube supports in polished stainless steel. For mounting on a stern pulpit, a clamp bracket is used for tubes with a diameter of Ø 22 mm or Ø 25 mm.
The brackets can be mounted on a suitable vertical wall, the boat's transom, or a swim platform, depending on the variant. The mounting surface, fasteners, and the boat's construction must be sized for the motor's weight and the load to which the bracket is subjected. The product is not tied to specific motor brands, models, or shaft lengths.
The bracket is primarily intended for hanging and storage, for example of a dinghy or auxiliary motor during sailing. It is not documented as a lift/lower bracket or for absorbing the motor's propulsion load during operation.
