This blanking plug for plastic switch frame is a black plastic component for building a modular panel with compatible rocker switches.

The blanking plug closes an unused position in the plastic frame and allows the panel to be finished without installing a switch in the corresponding frame opening. It is a passive, mechanical component with no documented electrical function.

The component is intended for the frame system for the switch series 14.296.., 14.198.. and 14.298.., including Marina R and Marina R II switches. Electrical ratings and IP classes for the compatible switches do not apply to the blanking plug itself.

The frame can be assembled with center insert 14.197.21, single switch frame 14.197.22, and right/left end insert 14.197.31. These parts are used together to build a complete switch panel.
