This Polastorm Megara duplex stainless steel propeller is a 3-blade propeller for outboard motors. This variant has a diameter of 10 3/8″, a pitch of 14″, and a Mercury profile. It is recommended for selected Mercury, Honda, and Tohatsu engines when combined with the correct separate hub kit.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890 grade 4A duplex stainless steel. The steel’s high chromium content contributes to increased corrosion resistance, while APC precision casting gives the material high density and physical strength. This combination is ideal for a propeller exposed to both mechanical stress and the marine environment.
The size specification is structured as diameter × pitch: 10 3/8″ in diameter and 14″ in pitch. The propeller is part of a product group for 3 1/4″ gearcases and engines in the 25–70 hp range. The stated power range is a guideline for the product group; the engine model, year, gearcase, and shaft must always be checked in conjunction with the selected hub kit.
The propeller is supplied without a central hub and shock absorber. Installation is completed with an engine-specific Polaflex hub kit, which is ordered separately. The interchangeable hub system allows the same propeller profile to be used with various documented engine families. The hub kits include a shock absorber, thrust washer, front plate, spacer, and nut.
