This Polastorm Megara stainless steel propeller for Mercury, Honda, and Tohatsu 25-70 hp is a 3-blade outboard propeller with a diameter of 10 1/4" and a pitch of 15". The model features a Mercury profile and is intended for use with a separate, engine-specific hub/cushion kit.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890-A4 duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content provides high corrosion resistance, while the APC manufacturing method, Aerospace Precision Casting, is used to achieve high material density and physical strength.
The official dimension specification is Ø × pitch 10 1/4 x 15". The first measurement indicates the propeller diameter, while 15" indicates the pitch. The propeller belongs to the group for outboards with a 3 1/4" gearcase and a power rating of 25-70 hp.
The hub is not included. The correct hub/cushion kit must be selected based on the engine manufacturer, gearcase, and propeller shaft. For Mercury, the F11 hub kit, item no. 52.580.01, can be used for 25-70 hp, 3 1/4" gearcase, and 13 splines. For Honda, the F14 hub kit, item no. 52.583.01, can be used for 35-60 hp, while the F15 hub kit, item no. 52.585.01, is specified for Tohatsu/Nissan 35-50 hp. Both are for a 3 1/4" gearcase and 13 splines.
The Mercury profile is a profile and geometry reference and does not constitute a specific OEM number. Therefore, always check the engine power, gearcase, propeller shaft, and required hub kit before installation.
