This Polastorm PolaFlex propeller hub kit for Yamaha is model F22 for 50–100 HP engines with a 15-spline propeller shaft and a 4 1/4" (108 mm) gearcase. The kit is used as an interchangeable hub between a compatible propeller and the propeller shaft.
The hub is constructed of brass and rubber. The elastic rubber bushing acts as a shock-absorbing element between the propeller and the drivetrain, reducing the transmission of shocks and vibrations and helping to protect the gearcase and drivetrain in the event of propeller impact.
The kit consists of a shock-absorbing hub, thrust washer, front spacer, spacer, and nut. The hub is mounted loosely into a compatible propeller and secured onto the propeller shaft with the included mounting hardware.
F22 is intended for compatible Polastorm propellers with an interchangeable hub, including Poleax propellers with a loose hub. The choice of hub kit must be matched to the engine manufacturer, gearcase diameter, and the number of splines on the propeller shaft.
Compatible engine models
Yamaha T50 4-stroke from 1996, C60/E60/P60 from 1992–2005, T60 4-stroke from 2003, 70 HP from 1984, as well as 70–100 HP from 1984. F75B, F90B, and F100B are not compatible. The model range also includes F70 4-stroke from 2010, C75/E75/P75 from 1994–1999, 80 HP from 1997, F80 4-stroke from 1999–2002, 85 HP from 1991–1997, and C90 from 1984.
