Polastorm Polaflex propeller hub kit F24 is an interchangeable hub and shock absorber kit for compatible outboard propellers. This variant has 13 splines and is intended for selected Suzuki, BRP, Johnson, and Evinrude engines with a 4¼″ (108 mm) gearcase.
The hub system transfers drive torque between the propeller shaft and the propeller. The shock-absorbing rubber bushing reduces vibrations, contributes to smoother gear engagement, and absorbs shock loads in the drivetrain. The spline insert is made of brass, while the damping part of the hub is made of rubber.
The kit contains a shock-absorbing hub bushing, thrust washer, front spacer, spacer, and nut. Together, these parts form the interchangeable hub system between the propeller shaft and the propeller.
Compatible engine models
For Suzuki with 4¼″ gearcase and 13-spline propeller shaft: DF60 4-stroke from 1998 to 2009, DF70 4-stroke from 1998 to 2008, DT75 from 1983 to 1997, DT85 from 1979 to 2000, DT90 from 1989 to 1997, DT100 from 1989 to 2000, DT115 from 1981 to 2001, and DT140 from 1981 to 2001. The Suzuki applications cover 60-140 hp.
For BRP, Johnson, and Evinrude outboard engines with a 4¼″ gearcase and 13 splines: 60 hp 4-stroke from 1998 and 70 hp 4-stroke from 1998. For these engine manufacturers, the power range is 60-70 hp.
The hub kit is used for compatible Polastorm stainless steel propellers. The propeller shaft must be lubricated before installation, and the hub kit model, number of splines, and gearcase size must be checked against the engine and propeller.
