This Polastorm PolaFlex propeller hub kit for Yamaha is model F12 with 13 splines and is designed for select 25–60 hp Yamaha engines with a 3½" (89 mm) gearcase. The kit is used as an interchangeable hub and dampening system between the propeller shaft and a compatible propeller in the PolaFlex C-group.
The hub construction consists of brass and rubber. The rubber bushing acts as a mechanical damper between the propeller and the propeller shaft, helping to absorb shocks and vibrations. The hub kit is designed to complete compatible Polaris stainless steel propellers with the correct hub group.
The set includes a dampener/hub insert, thrust washer, front plate, spacer, and nut. The parts are mounted on the engine's propeller shaft together with the compatible propeller. Tightening torque and the potential use of engine-specific cotter pins or other hardware must be checked in the engine's service manual.

Compatibility requires a 13-spline propeller shaft, a 3½" (89 mm) gearcase, and a propeller intended for the PolaFlex F12/C-group. Engine make and power range cannot be used as the sole criteria when selecting a hub kit.
