Polastorm Polaflex interchangeable propeller hub kit for Yamaha, model F23, is designed for compatible 150–300 hp Yamaha engines with a 15-spline propeller shaft and a 4¾″ / 120.7 mm gearcase. The hub kit is installed between the propeller and the propeller shaft as an interchangeable connection and is used together with a suitable propeller to form a complete propeller assembly.
The shock-absorbing rubber bushing with a metal insert absorbs energy and deflects impact loads. The design also provides smoother gear engagement and reduces drivetrain vibrations. The splined hub insert is made of brass or bronze, while the rubber section acts as a shock-absorbing element.
The kit consists of a shock-absorbing hub/rubber bushing, thrust washer, front spacer, rear spacer, and nut. The propeller shaft must be greased before installation. The choice of hub kit must always be matched to the gearcase diameter, number of splines, engine model, power, and year.

The Polaflex hub can be used in suitable Polastorm propellers and with compatible propeller units from Solas, Michigan Wheel, Turning Point, and Mercury. The specific propeller must still be selected according to engine, gearcase, diameter, pitch, rotation direction, boat type, and the engine's recommended operating range.
