This Polastorm Saltist 3-blade duplex stainless steel propeller is a left-hand rotation motor propeller with a diameter of 14 1/2 inches and a pitch of 21 inches. It is designed for an interchangeable hub system and is used in the 4 3/4-inch gearcase class.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890-A4 duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content contributes to corrosion resistance, while APC precision casting provides high material density and physical strength.
The propeller is supplied as a propeller body without a central hub and shock absorber. An engine-specific Polastorm hub kit must therefore be selected and ordered separately based on engine make, engine model, year, gearcase diameter, and shaft splines. The Saltist series is recommended for engines in the 200–250 hp power range.
The propeller profile is comparable to the Solas Rubex HR3 and Solas HR Titan. This describes a similar propeller series and is not in itself a guarantee of direct interchangeability, as rotation and the correct hub kit must also match.
