This Polastorm SEMA aluminum propeller for Suzuki 150–300 hp is a three-blade, left-hand rotation propeller for 4-stroke outboard motors. This variant has a diameter of 16″, a pitch of 21½″, and 15 splines.
The propeller is made of aluminum and features LH rotation, also known as left-hand or counter-rotation. The diameter corresponds to 406.4 mm, while the nominal pitch corresponds to 546.1 mm. The left-hand rotation makes this variant relevant as a counter-rotating propeller in a twin-engine installation when the engine setup requires LH rotation.
The SEMA propeller is designed for Suzuki outboard motors in the 150–300 hp range with a 4¾″ gear case and 15-spline propeller shaft. The construction uses a pressed-in rubber hub and is compatible with OEM mounting. The correct pitch must be selected based on boat type, load, gear ratio, and the engine's permitted RPM range.
The aluminum propeller is manufactured using APC – Aerospace Precision Casting – and a hybrid casting process based on strontium, aluminum, and titanium. The anti-corrosive powder coating is applied on a robotic line using AkzoNobel powder.
