This Polastorm SEMA stainless steel propeller for Suzuki 40–140 hp is a three-blade, counter-rotating outboard propeller with a diameter of 14" and a pitch of 17". The L marking indicates counter-rotation, and the variant is intended for engine installations where this rotation direction is required.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890 Grade 4A duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content provides high corrosion resistance, while the APC (Aerospace Precision Casting) manufacturing method provides high material density and physical strength. The SEMA blade geometry corresponds to the original propeller geometry for the relevant engine group.
The modular construction uses a replaceable, engine-specific hub with a torque damper. The propeller is supplied without a central hub, and the correct hub kit must therefore be ordered separately according to the engine, gearcase, and propeller shaft. The number of splines is determined by the selected hub kit and cannot be stated as a fixed characteristic of the propeller itself.
The propeller is recommended for Suzuki engines of 40–140 hp with a 4 1/4" gearcase. It is not compatible with OMC/Johnson or two-stroke Suzuki engines with a 13-spline propeller shaft. The engine's gearcase, shaft, rotation direction, and hub kit requirements must be checked before installation.
For Suzuki DF70A, DF80A, and DF90A four-stroke from 2009 onwards, hub kit F25 with item no. 52.582.03 may be an engine-specific option. This kit is intended for a 4 1/4" gearcase and a 15-spline shaft, but the choice must always be confirmed against the specific engine and propeller shaft.
