Polastorm 3-blade aluminum propeller for Volvo SX/Cobra SX sterndrives in the SOLTIGA 3 series features a propeller diameter of 15 1/2 inches and a pitch of 17 inches. This variant is right-hand rotation with standard rotation and has 19 splines for the specified propeller shaft.
The propeller is manufactured from a hybrid cast material containing strontium, aluminum, and titanium. The APC manufacturing method, Aerospace Precision Casting, provides a casting with high material density and physical strength. The propeller model is designed in accordance with the geometry of the original propellers.
The surface has a robotically applied, anti-corrosive powder coating from AkzoNobel. The coating protects the cast aluminum alloy against the demanding environment around the sterndrive.
Compatibility includes Volvo SX Sterndrive and OMC Cobra SX with a 19-spline propeller shaft. Propeller diameter, pitch, number of splines, and direction of rotation must always be checked against the existing drive and the current propeller before installation.
