This Polastorm Soltiga 3 aluminum propeller for Honda engines is a 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 15 1/4″, a pitch of 20″, and right-hand rotation. It is designed for select Honda 4-stroke outboard motors with a 4 3/4″ gearcase and 15-spline propeller shaft.
The propeller is manufactured from a titanium-aluminum hybrid material using APC (Aerospace Precision Casting). This manufacturing method provides high material density and physical strength. The material has a specified tensile strength of 280 MPa and a yield strength of 220 MPa.
The surface is protected with robotic AkzoNobel powder coating, which contributes to corrosion protection in maritime environments. The Soltiga 3 series features a large diameter, deep blade curvature, and modern blade geometry for use in the medium and high-speed range. The exhaust is directed through the propeller hub according to the thru-hub principle.
This variant fits Honda BF115 and BF115D from 2011, BF135 and BF150 from 2004, BF200 and BF225 from 2002, and BF250 from 2012. Compatibility applies to the specified 4-stroke engines with a 4 3/4″ gearcase and 15-spline propeller shaft.
Choosing the correct propeller pitch also depends on the boat type, load, gear ratio, and the engine's recommended RPM range. A 20″ pitch is therefore not necessarily optimal for all installations, even if the engine is compatible.
