This Polastorm Soltiga 3 duplex stainless steel propeller is a three-blade motorboat propeller measuring 15 1/4 x 24L. The propeller has a diameter of 15 1/4″, a pitch of 24″, and is designed as an L-variant.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890 Grade 4A duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content provides high corrosion resistance, while the APC (Aerospace Precision Casting) manufacturing method is used to achieve high material density and physical strength.
The Soltiga 3 is designed for a separate, interchangeable hub system and is supplied without a central hub. Therefore, an engine-specific hub kit that matches the engine, propeller shaft, spline count, and gearcase must be ordered. The propeller belongs to the 4¾″ gearcase group, corresponding to 120.7 mm, but the gearcase size alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility.
This variant is recommended for Suzuki 175/225 hp engines as well as generally for engines from 250 hp and up. The product group includes engine installations from 115 hp, but this is a gearcase and power classification and not a guarantee of fit for all engines in that range. Furthermore, the diameter, pitch, and L-variant must be suitable for the boat's load, gearing, and desired engine RPM.
The propeller profile corresponds to the Solas Lexor and Solas Rubex L3. These designations describe comparable propeller series and are not OEM numbers. Relevant hub kits include 52.580.02 for Mercury with 15 splines, 52.580.03 for Mercury with 19 splines and a 1¼″ propeller shaft, 52.581.03 for Yamaha with 15 splines, 52.582.06 F28 for documented Suzuki applications with 15 splines, and 52.586.01 for Volvo SX Sterndrive from 1994. The specific hub kit must always be selected based on the actual engine and propeller shaft.
