This Polastorm Soltiga 3 duplex stainless steel propeller is a 3-blade, right-hand rotation propeller with a diameter of 15″ and a pitch of 21″. It is designed for outboards and sterndrives with a 4 3/4″ gearcase and utilizes an interchangeable, engine-specific hub system.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890-4A duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the APC manufacturing method – Aerospace Precision Casting – is developed to achieve high material density and physical strength.
The Soltiga 3 design features deep blade curvature, a large diameter, and a large blade surface area. The modern blade shape is intended for medium to high speeds and is particularly relevant for boats with a high power-to-weight ratio. The propeller model corresponds to the Solas Lexor and Solas Rubex L3.
The product group is intended for engines from 115 HP with a 4 3/4″ gearcase. This model is recommended for 175–225 HP Suzuki engines as well as engines of all brands from 250 HP and up. Final compatibility depends on the engine variant, gearcase, propeller shaft, spline count, rotation direction, and selection of the correct hub kit.
The propeller is supplied without a hub, shock absorber, or hub kit. A suitable Polastorm hub kit must be ordered separately according to the specific engine and propeller shaft. Always check the engine, gearcase, rotation direction, and the existing propeller's diameter and pitch before ordering.
