This Polastorm Star 3-blade duplex stainless steel propeller for 40–140 hp has a diameter of 13 1/2″, a pitch of 15″, and left-hand rotation. The propeller is designed for outboards with a 4 1/4″ gearcase where the installation requires an LH or counter-rotating propeller.
The propeller is manufactured from ASTM A890-A4 duplex stainless steel. The material's high chromium content provides high corrosion resistance, while the APC casting process, Aerospace Precision Casting, contributes to high material density and physical strength.
The Star series uses an interchangeable, engine-specific hub and is supplied without a hub or shock absorber. A suitable Polaflex hub kit must therefore be ordered separately and selected based on engine brand, engine model, year, gearcase, shaft diameter, and number of splines. The propeller is recommended for relevant engines from Yamaha, Selva, Mercury, Honda, and Tohatsu.
A spacer is included and must be installed in front of the propeller. The exception is installations with OMC/Johnson as well as 2-stroke Suzuki engines with a 13-spline shaft, where the spacer is not used.

Documented examples of relevant engine-specific hub kits include part no. 52.581.02 for selected Yamaha engines and part no. 52.585.02 for selected Tohatsu/Nissan engines. These kits are not universal, and the correct hub kit must always be selected based on the specific engine installation.
