This padded lifelines protector is a 100 cm long, grey protective cover for lifelines and guardrail wires on boats. The padded construction covers the wire and can also be placed over the turnbuckle.
The core consists of soft, closed-cell polyurethane foam, which is covered in a polyester fabric known as Cordura. The combination provides a padded textile surface around the wire and the turnbuckle.
The protector is installed around the existing wire without having to detach the wire or the lifeline. The construction is form-fitting and closes tightly around the wire without any annoying slack or open gaps.
The universal design is intended for lifelines regardless of diameter. There is no specified numerical minimum or maximum for the wire diameter.
