Power Post feed-through connector for electrical cables in the Maxi version is an insulated, continuous connection point for electrical installations with high current loads. The black variant has a specified current rating of 250 A and an 8 mm connection bolt.
The continuous bolt allows for the connection of cable lugs or other suitable electrical connections on both sides of a panel or bulkhead. The design can be used for splicing, branching, or feeding through electrical cables where a fixed high-current connection point is required.
The base is made of glass fiber-reinforced nylon, while the connection bolt and nuts are made of stainless steel. The base measures 75 × 35 mm. The mounting flange has two mounting holes, one on each side of the central, insulating feed-through.
The connector is installed as a feed-through through a panel or bulkhead and secured via the flange. Cable lugs and other connections must be suitable for the documented bolt diameter of 8 mm. Thread pitch, maximum cable cross-section, maximum panel thickness, and tightening torque are not specified.
For additional protection, a black insulating cap with item no. 14.987.02 or a red insulating cap with item no. 14.988.02 can be used. The caps are made of soft PVC, fit cables with an outer diameter of up to 16 mm, and are not included.
