This Power Post terminal stud in the Big version is designed for connecting and branching electrical cables where high current levels occur. The base measures 82 × 43 mm and features a single central connection stud with a diameter of 10 mm.
Cables with suitable cable lugs are connected to the stud and secured with the included nuts. No fixed amperage limit is specified for the terminal, as the applicable current capacity is determined by the size of the electrical cables.
The base is made of nylon/fiberglass, while the connection stud is made of stainless steel. The nuts are made of chrome-plated brass. The combination of materials provides a robust electrical connection point for installations on board.
For insulation and protection, we recommend the soft PVC caps with part no. 14.987.02 in black or 14.988.02 in red. The caps are intended for cables with an outer diameter of up to 16 mm; this measurement applies to the caps and is not a maximum cable diameter for the terminal itself. No rigid polycarbonate cover is specified for this variant.
