This Power Post busbar for electrical cables in the Big version is designed for connecting and branching electrical cables. The variant features a 50 × 41 mm base and two 10 mm diameter connection studs.
The busbar can be used in high-current installations. The usable current capacity is determined by the dimensions and cross-section of the connected cable, and therefore no fixed maximum current value is specified for the connection point itself.
The insulating base is made of glass-fiber reinforced nylon. The connection studs are made of stainless steel, while the included nuts are made of chrome-plated brass. This material combination provides a robust electrical connection point for cable lugs and cable connections around the two 10 mm studs.
As protective accessories, soft PVC insulating caps with item no. 14.987.02 in black or 14.988.02 in red can be used. The caps are designed for cables with an outer diameter of up to 16 mm. The connection point is also compatible with the rigid polycarbonate cover with item no. 14.205.14.
