This Power Post cable connecting terminal in the Midi version is designed for connecting and branching electrical cables. This variant features a 50 × 41 mm base and two connecting studs with a diameter of 8 mm.
The terminal is suitable for high-current electrical connections. The practical current capacity depends on the sizing of the connected electrical cables, and therefore no fixed amperage rating is specified for the terminal itself.
The insulating base is made of nylon and glass fiber. The connecting studs are made of stainless steel, while the included nuts are made of chrome-plated brass. The base can be screwed onto the mounting surface.
Electrical cables are connected using ring terminals that fit the terminal's two 8 mm studs. To protect the connections, the recommended soft PVC caps with item numbers 14.987.01 and 14.988.01 can be used. A rigid polycarbonate protective cover is available under item number 14.205.14.
