This Power Post power distribution point in the Maxi version is designed for connecting and distributing electrical cables. The base measures 83 × 44 mm, and the stainless steel stud has a diameter of 8 mm.
The power distribution point is suitable for high-current installations. The permissible electrical load is determined by the cable sizing and not by the connection point itself, so cable cross-sections and cable lugs must be selected according to the power requirements of the installation.
The base is made of a nylon/fiberglass composite. The electrical connection is made on a stainless steel stud with chrome-plated brass nuts that secure the mounted cable lugs.
The cable lugs must be designed for mounting on an 8 mm stud. For soft insulation and protection, we recommend the black PVC cap with item no. 14.987.02 or the red PVC cap with item no. 14.988.02. No compatible rigid polycarbonate cover is specified for this variant.
