Professional self-inflating life jacket 180 N is an ergonomically designed adult model with a collar and an actual buoyancy of 180 N. The life jacket is manufactured for maritime safety use and complies with EN ISO 12402-3.
The life jacket can be activated automatically upon contact with water or manually. A transparent inspection window makes it possible to check whether the trigger and activation mechanism are correctly mounted and ready for use.
The ergonomic design features quick-release, adjustable buckles as well as two thigh safety straps. Two integrated connection points for a safety line comply with ISO 12401 and make the life jacket suitable for use with a suitable safety line.
The correct service kit depends on the production date of the life jacket. For life jackets produced up to and including April 2019, service kit 22.397.10 with a 38 g CO₂ cylinder and UML-5 activator is used. For life jackets produced from May 2019, service kit 22.397.11 with a 38 g CO₂ cylinder and UML Pro Sensor Elite activator is used. Always check the production date and activator type on the specific life jacket before ordering.
The life jacket should be checked every 12 months or at the beginning of the season and serviced according to the instructions on the life jacket. The maximum service life is 10 years from the date of production. The expiry date of the activator as well as the weight and physical condition of the CO₂ cylinder must be checked regularly.
As supplementary safety equipment, electronic emergency light 22.409.23 can be used together with mounting clip 22.409.27. The emergency light and clip are accessories and are not documented as being included with the life jacket.
