This PVC base for stainless C-shaped fender profile is a white, UV-resistant base profile for fender profile 35. The base is supplied as a 24 m roll and has a cross-section of 47 × 21 mm.
The PVC base is mounted under the compatible stainless top profile and is designed to accommodate the profile's C-shaped cross-section. It serves as the base profile in a complete rub rail and fender profile system for the boat's hull side.
The base is compatible with fender profile item no. 44.480.38. This top profile is 35 mm wide and made of mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel with countersunk mounting holes, a material thickness of 1.5 mm, a profile height of 9 mm, and a hole spacing of 198 mm. The top profile is supplied separately in 3 m lengths.
The corresponding end cap has item no. 44.484.37 and is made of mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel. The base geometry is also available in grey as item no. 44.481.47 and in black as item no. 44.481.57.
The UV-resistant PVC construction makes the base suitable for external maritime use, where it acts as an underlay for the stainless fender profile. Please note that the dimensions 35 × 9 mm and the length of 3 m describe the compatible stainless top profile and not the PVC base itself.
