PVC insert for Duralene fender profile in black for the modular version C system. The insert is supplied as a 20 m roll and is used together with the separate rigid base rail 44.040.05 to build a complete fender profile along the boat hull.
The system consists of a rigid base/mounting rail and this flexible PVC insert. The parts are sold separately and must be assembled together. Base rail 44.040.05 is supplied in 4 m rods, so the rail lengths can be adapted to the installation, while the insert is fed through the entire profile run.
The flexible PVC construction is shatterproof and can follow the curves of the boat and the profile without forming folds or wrinkles. The material is also dimensionally stable over time, making the insert suitable as the covering and shock-absorbing part of the fender profile system.
Version C is intended for a base rail with a height of 40 mm. The documented protrusion for the system's covering profile is 5 mm; the value describes the overall profile system and not the loose insert as an independent product measurement.
The system can be finished with end cap 44.040.01 and joined with joint cover 44.042.27. For the same base rail, white PVC insert 44.040.40 and grey PVC insert 44.040.50 are also available.
