This anode (97-8M0012083) is a genuine Mercury Marine OEM part designed to protect the power trim system on various Mercury engines from galvanic corrosion. It is made of aluminum, an ideal material for use in saltwater.
Compatibility:
This anode fits a range of Mercury engines including:
- Verado: 350-400 hp 6-cylinder Verado engines (and some 450 hp models)
- 300R: 300 hp 4.6L V8 AMS Racing (1E081459 & Up) - USA
