Mercury Marine Black Max aluminum propeller 13.25 x 17″ RH is an original 3-blade propeller for select Mercury and Mariner outboard motors. The propeller is made of aluminum, features right-hand rotation, and has a Phantom Black finish. The diameter is 13.25 inches, the pitch is 17 inches, and the propeller hub fits a 15-tooth propeller shaft.
The propeller is intended for engines with a 4.25-inch standard, Command Thrust, or BigFoot gearcase. Documented compatibility includes, among others, 40-60 HP Command Thrust/BigFoot, 60 and 75 HP SeaPro/Marathon, as well as select Mercury and Mariner engines from 65 to 140 HP. The engine model, gearcase, and serial number must always be checked before ordering.
The Black Max propeller uses the Flo-Torq II hub system and is supplied with hub kit 835257K1. The outside diameter over the back of the hub is approximately 4.375 inches. The propeller's original Mercury Marine part number is 48-77344A45, while QA2036X Black Diamond is the documented Quicksilver cross-reference.
The part number replaces the previous numbers 48-77344ARA, 48-65748A1, 48-65748A4, 48-77344A4, and 48-77344A40. Check the existing propeller number as well as the engine's gearcase and propeller shaft to ensure a correct fit.
