Quicksilver spin-on oil filter for MerCruiser is a genuine engine oil filter for filtering engine oil in compatible MerCruiser MCM sterndrives and MIE inboards. The filter is manufactured to Mercury Marine's OEM specifications and has part number 35-866340Q03.
The oil filter is designed with M-pleated filter media and an anti-drain back valve, which supports lubrication during engine start-up. The metal housing is stated to be 50% thicker than that of conventional filters and features a corrosion-resistant finish.
