Quicksilver water pump impeller for Mercury and Mariner is an original impeller for the cooling water pump in the gear housing of select outboard motors. The impeller features six flexible vanes and a keyed metal insert that transfers rotation from the pump shaft.
The impeller measures 16.0 mm in inner diameter, 73.0 mm in outer diameter, and 12.6 mm in height. It is used to circulate cooling water through the engine's cooling system and is therefore a vital service part in the water pump.
Documented applications include select Mercury and Mariner engines from 9.9 hp BigFoot to 50 hp. Compatibility depends on factors such as engine model, two-stroke or four-stroke version, gear housing, and serial number. It includes, among others, F15 FourStroke BigFoot/Command Thrust as well as select 18-50 hp two-stroke and four-stroke models.
