Mercury Marine MSC 4000 side-mount remote control with power trim is a mechanical remote control box for throttle and shift operation of compatible Mercury outboard motors. The remote control features electric start, a power trim switch in the handle, and a 15 ft (4.58 m) wiring harness with a 14-pin Deutsch connector.
The handle is reversible, allowing the box to be mounted on either the port or starboard side. Installation requires Gen I throttle and shift cables. The remote control is not intended for engines with counter-rotating gearcases.
