RAILBLAZA Gear Hub multifunctional tackle box is designed for the organized storage, protection, and transport of fishing gear. It can be used for fishing from a boat, kayak, canoe, SUP, beach, shore, pier, and other land-based fishing spots.
The box features four integrated rod holders in the interior corners and comes with four Rod Leash rod safety lines. The storage compartment has room for up to eight Plano 3600-format tackle boxes or equivalent. Tackle boxes are not included.
Nine integrated accessory tracks allow you to customize the box with compatible RAILBLAZA accessories. There are two tracks on each of the box's four sides, as well as one track in the lid. The tracks support TracLoader and MiniPort components and can be used with items such as the StowPod, RodStow, DrinkHold, Rod Tube, Spooling Station, camera mounts, and visibility equipment. Accessories are not included.
The construction is made of polypropylene with stainless steel screws and fasteners. Integrated carrying handles facilitate transport, while non-slip rubber feet limit movement, noise, and vibrations against the surface. The hinged lid has a locking closure and can be supported in an open position. The solid lid can also be used as a temporary seating surface, although no maximum load is specified.
The nominal dimensions of the overall box are 330 × 330 × 330 mm. The product is supplied as an assembly kit with box parts, four rod safety lines, 36 mounting screws, four rubber feet, two hinges, and associated washers and nyloc nuts. For assembly, a No. 2 Pozidriv screwdriver, a No. 3 Phillips screwdriver, and a 10 mm open-end or adjustable wrench are required. Hand tools are recommended, and the final tightening should be done manually to avoid overtightening and damaging the plastic threads.
The Gear Hub is manufactured in New Zealand using recycled material and has several integrated tie-down and anchor points. The product's manufacturer number is 09-4227-11, and the design is patent pending.
